Ky Derby means Hats!

Kentucky is wild about the Ky Derby which happens on May 4 2013 in Louisville, Ky.  Ladies typically wear pastel-colored suits or dresses. Hats are the major fashion trend at the Derby! I have my hat but I will be watching it on the big TV.

This is the look I have watching the derby. It's intense. 
The Ky derby is known as "The Greatest 2 minutes in sports"

      I love to wear hats. I have a lucky yard sale hat too. Whenever I wear it I find the bestest bargains!

    Fantastic hat Carma! I do watch the derby and I also usually wear a hat for the occasion, even all the way here in Cascadia. My dogs are all boys, though, so they do not join me in lovely hat wearing joy.

    We aren't a horsey family, but I love hats, mom says it must be because I was born in England since she hates wearing hats...maybe I will don a hat and watch the horses run this year just for fun!

    Love the hat! You will look great at the Kentucky Derby! We watch the Derby cause mom's parents use to race horses and mom grew up going to the racetrack all the time!
