At my old place I had daffodils that always got the full sun. It would never fail, every year they would show their beautiful blossoms and end up covered in some early spring snow. Still it shows the perseverance of nature.
I love the colors of daffodils. They are little suns peeking above the green stems. I can't wait till its sunflower time. We love to watch the hummingbirds and bees Wednesdays wags
Hi Carma, So pretty- sadly no sign of spring here as still snowy and cold. Sunny today but more snow expected tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. XS Talent Hounds
Those were not there yesterday morning and by yesterday afternoon they were up and bloomed. They also will bust threw the snow and pop their colors. It was a great pick me up.
I love those purple flowers. I now what they are, but just realized that I don't know how to spell it. I'm getting excited about our first trip to the nursery. Still a couple months away, but time does fly these days :)
Great thing about Crocuses is that you plant them in the fall and they will pop up even in the snow. Ma wishes she could find the photos she had of them all in bloom and a thick snow cover all around them. The purple against the white was breathtaking.
I am sure winter will give us a final storm before it leaves but you have to have some rain to get the rainbow. I look forward to spring. I have had cabin fever and I am ready to run.
Those are gorgeous! My daffodils are about to bloom also. I know we will get at least one more cold spell before spring. I love seeing them though because it won't be long before nice weather.
I love the purple ones ... so beautiful. I am getting ready to start working on my flower beds ... can't wait to get my hands in some dirt! Just a few more weeks to be sure the worst of the weather is over. Thanks for the inspiration ... my flower beds will appreciate it! Purple Crocuses it is then. Happy WW and almost Spring!
Beautiful! We're not seeing much in the coming spring just yet. Yesterday was a nice day, but I think we've got cold weather and possibly even more snow coming soon!
No spring here, just got a fresh foot of snow and temps are going to dive below zero again, but it is only February. We know in a month or so spring will slowly start creeping into the picture! Pretty flowers you have.
Our orchid got lots of flowers but outside :-( still lots of SNOW. Wishing to see our yard/grass soon. Happy BlogPaws WW. Golden Woofs
