This really surprised Ma. Click photo to read card. |
When ma got up to let us out for our morning potty, she discovered that Jenny Sue (sissy spaniel) gave her a present of piles of diarrhea from the kitchen to the carpeted living room. Jenny had a green chew last night and apparently it didn't agree with her. It looked like leprechauns pooped in the house!
Sorry about the present ma! |
Since he was clean and the sun was shining , Ma took Scooby and me to PetSmart for our weekly food shopping. While we was there the rain started again. Boy did it rain! It was thundering and raining so hard it looked like someone had hung white curtains on the windows. You couldn't see the cars in the parking lot! Scooby Doo is scared of storms. He started shaking and panting. I don't know if it was because there weren't many people in the store or if the storm was that bad but it was so loud. Scooby was freaking out. He was beginning to scream from terror. Ma went to the front of the store and grabbed a Thundershirt off the stuffed animal display and put it on Scooby to see if it would calm him down.
It didn't help at all. Ma picked him up and just held him, telling him everything was okay the whole time. The storm passed and he calmed down so we could finish our shopping. We got our food and we went home.
When we got home, Ma looked down while getting out of the truck and she seen a 4 leaf clover. That really surprised her!
After we ate supper, we laid down and took a nap. All the rain stopped and the sun came out for a little while. Our bunny family came out to eat some clover and the birds came back. Ma went outside to check on the fishies in the pond and when she turned around ,she seen one of her flowers had bloomed. She ran in to tell dad about it and he asked her which flower it was and she told him she couldn't remember the name but she sure loved the flower.
That was her Mother's day present from her yard. It made her very happy. It ended up being a pretty good day even though it started out crappy. BOL!
It even got better when I got a email saying that I was the Dogster Dog of the day! Are you on Dogster? Would love to be pals on there.

Poor Mama, sick and scared Dogs on Mother's Day. Sounds like the flowers helped. I still hope Blog Paws will end up near New England one day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of excitement! Is that a clamatis flower? Very pretty. Dunno dogs don’t like storms. They don’t bother me—much. TW is prolly gonna get her ticket today also. BTW, I can’t log onto my FB page so I miss seeing you. The page is still there. Sigh.
