Thank you. She wants to be either a linguist or a teacher. Her true love is language. She speaks chinese fluently, knows some korean, german, and french. This year she will learn Spanish.
A senior freshman... I see... I am also going to be a fresh senior starting January 1st. Apparently when a chihuahua turns eight, they've matured and are 'ahem' -- senior. So you can say that Sissy Sarah and I are both senior but fresh (men) to the new page in our lives.... Hi-Paw Sissy Sarah - WOOF WOOF!
WOW - so we're both 'mature' working dogs, both born in January - one year apart, and we're both angel colored. We're kindred spirits Miss Carma! HI PAWS!
(sorry if this comes through twice, the system would not accept my entry)
This year will go by so fast! Cherish every moment because the year will be over before you know it. That is awesome that she is taking classes at the community college while she is a senior. I try to get all of my kids that I'm tutoring to take College Algebra at the University here so they can get it out of the way! Good luck to your Sissy!
She is in a program called Discover College. The grant pays for the college classes but she had to buy the books. Those were $600! She goes to the college campus half a day and then half a day at the high school. She will have the college required math and english but also is taking Early childhood education. She can take more courses next year but her basic stuff will be taken care of. We are very proud of her.
That is an interesting way to look at it. You do go from being on the top of the heap to the bottom pretty quick.
ReplyDeleteSarah has always referred to herself as a pet. She says they get spoiled more so she likes to be spoiled :)

There is so many opportunities awaiting her! We never stop learning...people and dogs!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree.

What a precious pic! I’ll bet she’s going to be a vet or work with animals.

ReplyDeleteYes she is and she has a job. She worked full time over the summer so she stayed very busy.
