Owensboro Bark In The Park 2014

Last Saturday, we participated in the Bark In The Park event here in Owensboro

Bark In The Park or sometimes called Bark For Life  is an event to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Canines and their companions came together to have fun and help raise money together. There were games to play, music to dance along with,  a silent auction and many area shelters were there with adoptable dogs.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we are working on the 2015 event.

This is an open admissions shelter that takes domestic animals from two Counties, Daviess and McLean KY

SparKy is a local, non profit, no-kill, foster home based rescue

Look forward to planning and attending next years event. Hopefully each of these dogs can find the homes they long for.
