I think I learned something new about Molly Mew Today while we were playing outside with ma, it was 22 degrees.
After about 20 minutes outside I swear Molly Mew grew. When I took a second look , I seen that she had puffed up her fur.We came in after that.
Molly Mew is a slim kitty but she sure knows how to puff!
So cats puff up their fur to stay warm??
Or if they are mad...I think she was just cold, though. My kitties aren't allowed outside, so I can't bark for them.
ReplyDeleteMolly mew is only allowed outside when she has adult supervision aka Ma. Since we were out playing she got to come out with us.
DeleteHmmm, I guess when she puffs her furs she is trying to catch the warm air rising up?!? Or...was she just mad for being out in the cold? Questions, questions...
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday, Carma.

No she wasn't mad. She had been begging ma all morning to let her go outside so when we went out to play , ma allowed her to come out with us. She chased the ball with me but she doesn't know how to bring it back. BOL! Wednesdays wags
Deletewell isn't that nature at it's most adaptive?!
ReplyDeleteCole poodle grows hair at a very fast speed in the winter, so it's slower than puffing, mew, but effective. Makes Mommy have to groom more often as ice balls form in hairy feet. LeeAnna and Cole
We usually just puff up our fur to show displeasure, but we don't go out when it gets that cold. Maybe we'd puff as well. We say, stay in and stay warm. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteHmm interesting! Cute though :)
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting :-) We lean something new today. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteInteresting! Glad your entire pack got to go outside with you & play!
ReplyDeleteI did not know that!! Max the cat likes to puff as well!
ReplyDeleteMolly is beautiful!
ReplyDeletethere is something special about hugging and smushing your face into a kitty that has puffed up because of the cold.. it is a bit like being let into the inner circle of love..
