When we are here in the southeast we miss all the birds coming to feeders and heated bird bath that we see if we have to be in the mountains when it snows.
You don't have bird feeders out? We love seeing all the birds come. We have had some new ones visit that we had to look up a photo so we could find out what they were. I forgot to include a photo of the one woodpecker. Thank you for stopping by!
Love the pictures, I always forget to put food in the feeders in the winter and it's probably when they need food most! Thanks for the reminder-I"m going to get some seed today!
We have birds all year and in all types of weather. We keep seed out for them. We have plenty of robins and blue jays so I imagine this is our last snow. Now preparing for the winds of spring :)
We feed the birds, too. Makes for great entertainment for both dogs and cats as they watch the visitors to our more than a dozen feeders. Love that in-flight pic!
Beautiful birds! Your back yard looks a lot like ours right now. There are mounds and mounds of white stuff! At least you have the beautiful birds to look at :)
I love the bird photos, especially the cardinals. I've been bad about putting my feeders out this year, so we haven't been seeing as many. Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Love the last shot of that bird with the red beak!
ReplyDeleteThank you. That is the female cardinal whose mate is the brilliant red one.

ReplyDeleteOur wildlife appreciates the food especially in the winter.
DeleteThis winter wonderland is great....but what I like most is that there are birds, and that must mean spring is coming. EVENTUALLY!

ReplyDeleteI do too but we rarely get snow and I have been growing my coat out for snow. It is super fun to play in.

That is so awesome that you have that many feeders. You are my hero!!
DeleteThose birds are getting four star treatment there. A welcome retreat for them in the winter, I'm sure! *wags* - Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com

ReplyDeleteMy goodness you have a lot of snow! With so little food available it's great that you feed the birds.
ReplyDeleteHank the border collie loves your bird photos! Of course, if given the chance, he would have chased them.
ReplyDeleteHow much snow did you get?
ReplyDeleteWe got 10 inches one day and 2 inches a few days later. Its the most snow we have had since 2008. We went one winter without any snow at all.
