I have been trying to perfect the art of jerky making.
My testers are not complaining
That is a lie.
They are protesting a little bit.
They don't want healthy jerky.
They don't want flax seed on their jerky.
They don't want chia seeds on their jerky.
The strange thing is, if it is left
on their plate.
They eat it.
I'm sure your testers will be perfectly happy if you continue to experiment with jerky making! :) Love that you are making your own; that's the only way to be sure your pets are getting good quality stuff. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am my biggest tester. The fact that people can eat them too is worth experimenting.
DeleteI just started cooking for myself, so I think my fur babies are the next to cook for. I hadn't considered jerky. Your kids are so lucky!
ReplyDeleteI love cooking for my fur kids. I don't cook for my hubby but I cook every night for my dogs and cat.
DeleteWish we could have jerky but we try to swallow it whole

You just need bigger pieces of jerky. That is what Carma would say! LOL!
DeleteOMD, these look and sound amazing! If you need help taste testing just let me know! :)
ReplyDeleteI will remember that. I can always use a tester that isn't in a frenzy because they have been smelling it all day cooking :)
DeleteWe would love to help and taste ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThis is good to know! I will put you on my list.
DeleteHarley and Charlie said that they would be happy to volunteer testing as many varieties of jerky as you can come up with!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try something like this for my crew!
ReplyDeleteI will have to get John to make some duck jerky for our guys!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Don't mess with the perfection that is chicken! That's a sin just like TW putting Miracle Whip and parsley in tuna.
