Yesterday was the parents 22nd year anniversary. We took a drive in the corvette out in the country. The sun was shining and the temps were perfect. Dad took the top off the car , the wind blowing through our hair and we had the 80's music blaring.
When we got in the car the radio was playing the Prince song "Red Corvette". It was destined. Don't you think?? I do! We drove around on the backroads where there was nothing but fields. Then we started driving down a road that had woods on both sides.
Dad pulled over and stopped the car. We got to get out and explore the place.
There were so many new smells, so much to look at and the weather was perfect.
There were a few trees that had fallen that we got to walk on. Scooby needed help getting up on one but he said he would stick to running under them instead of on them.
We got to the end of one of the paths and there was the river. We went to check it out and there was sand! We turned around to explore another path and dad stayed behind to check out everything on the river.
It was a great place to go and we hope ma takes us back. I think it could be one of my favorite places.
