Saturday, Sept 23rd we had our annual Bark in the Park event
Bark In The Park is a one-day event that allows dogs and their humans to rally together with other dogs and humans to support Cancer Awareness. All proceeds from Bark In The Park will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.During the event, I did more Facebook Live than photos. Thank you to those who sent me photos to use.
The event had a total of 26 dogs attend and we raised $1100. We felt this was a great turnout considering it was also at the same time of the Owensboro Airshow and a few other events that were happening in town.
We all had a great time and many smiles were to had. PetSmart grooming attended and did their magic. Dogs strutted around with their new tattoos and a few humans got one too.
We had a talented balloon animal creator. He could make almost any type of animal you could imagine. He was fun to watch.
The greyhound rescue came out with a couple of dogs. We always want to promote adoption.
There was a hot dog cart that sold hot dog meals and had the shelter available for those who wanted to sit down to eat. It was also a safe place to let pups play leash free.
